Preamble

We are Content Creators.
We: ideate, write, film, design, edit, educate, entertain, influence & build communities.

Brands have grown into empires on our backs.
Platforms have gone public on the strength of our labour.
Agencies have built entire businesses brokering our talent.

When it comes to our safety, our pay, and our dignity, we are told, again and again, to fend for ourselves.
The people at the heart of this industry are the least protected.
That era ends here.
We are no longer a scattered crowd of entertainers hoping to be noticed.
We are a workforce. We are an industry.
And now, we become a movement.

This charter names what has been done to us, and it demands what is owed to us.
Every brand that has delayed a payment, every platform that has silenced an account without cause, every contract written to extract and never to protect —
This document is our answer to all of it.
We will win this, together, or not at all.

We do not ask for charity. We ask for what any worker in any serious industry is owed:
