Data Deletion
How to ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you, including data from WhatsApp and Instagram.

How to ask
Use either of these. You do not need an account with us, and it costs nothing.
- Email hello@opengrey.media with the subject "Delete my data".
- On WhatsApp, send the message "DELETE MY DATA" to +91 96675 29745.
Write from the email address or phone number we know you by, so we can find your record. If you write from somewhere else, tell us which number, email address or Instagram handle to look for. We may ask one question to confirm the data is yours before we delete it.
What gets deleted
Everything we hold that identifies you, across our website enquiries and Grey Matter, our tool for managing brand enquiries:
- Your phone number, WhatsApp profile name, and the messages and media you sent us on WhatsApp.
- Your name, email address and other contact details.
- Instagram profile and insights data we stored about you, and the access we were given if you connected your account.
- Enquiry records and notes linked to you.
We keep only what the law requires us to, such as an invoice needed for tax, and a note that you asked to be deleted so we do not contact you again. Messages already on your own phone are controlled by you and WhatsApp, not by us.
How long it takes
We complete the deletion within 30 days of receiving your request.
Confirmation
When the deletion is done, we confirm it on the channel you used: a reply to your email, or a WhatsApp message to your number. If you asked on WhatsApp, that confirmation is the last message we send you.
